If the question, "Who am I?" has been at the forefront of your consciousness for some time now, then this book is an invitation to see who you really are. We've been taught since infancy to believe that we are a separate individual, a male or a female with a name and a particular form. But are we really that? Are we really what we see staring back in the mirror? Is what you see in the mirror the same thing as what is peering through those eyes at the mirror? Until there is a deep investigation into our true nature, our Real Identity, we'll live out our lives fearful of our impending death. Why do we want to know what we will be when we die, before we know who we are right now? When it becomes undeniably clear that we are not this body, not this mind, then all concern about death dissolves. Navigating the numerous pitfalls, egoic delay tactics and obstacles in this investigation is challenging enough without the proper guidance and support. "Seeing Through The 12 Biggest Obstacles To Enlightenment" is that support; it's a companion guide to "The Lazy Man's Way To Enlightenment What You're Looking For Is What Is Looking." It's a guide that sheds light further down the 'path' and addresses - while inviting you to see through - the various sticking points that postpone Seeing Who You Really Are. For this reason, it is highly recommended that you read The Lazy Man book first. Are you prepared to let go of who you think you are, in order to Realize and Be what You Already Are?

This is my second time reading this book and it is even more insightful this time around. I think this book was better than his first one, even though less popular. It speaks with a clarity and wisdom that I have not found in the many books I have read on Nonduality. Sample it slowly, stop and sense into the pointers. I realized, reading it a second time, how simple and straight forward this book is and how much I missed the first time around. It is all here, clearly spoken, nothing else is needed than this book to know your Self, to see that all there is is awareness and that we are this Knowing that lights up and permeates every experience we have ever had and will ever have, including the experience of being an individual self. This clearly seen and known in the depth is complete peace.

Special.
This is a very good book. Very simply written and makes complicated concepts appear very straightforward. 10/10
Very well done!
Excellent
Great and concise book in which David discusses common obstacles to (and misperceptions of) enlightenment. I also read the book The Essential Pointers From The Lazy Man's Way to Enlightenment by the same author. Both highly recommended.
I have read many books on enlightenment by both Eastern and Western authors. David Bhodan's exclamation of the self as an illusion and the true identity of the "I Am" are among the most clear that I have found.
Theres a road were walking. Actually the road doesn't differ from ourselves or the scenery or the birds or our heart beat. It just appears that way. Then a chasm opens and one may see that there is nothing separate but instead one essence in which all form manifests. Emotions bubble up with dramatic flair or perhaps potent rage or euphoric ecstasy or disparaging grief. You know all the waves. Yet underneath there is a quiet, vast and ever expanding peace and calm that remains unchanged and never ending. Its that sense of divine security and grace that we sometimes only touch upon but is ever present were we able to shift perspective enough to sink in to its embrace. I'm guessing perhaps this appeals to you. In fact I am positive it does. I know because you wouldn't be here reading this review if you weren't deeply interested in awakening.

If you've read David's first book, The Lazy Mans Way to Enlightenment, you are familiar with his writing style of easy depth and accessible wisdom. The message can bypass the minds attempts to chatter itself into another dream of doubt if one can relax into it with an open heart and an earnest willingness. As you have already experienced, once that door is open the light comes seeping through the dream state over and over again sometimes in ever increasing bits of clear sky and sometimes in one big explosion of grace. Along the way there are some common obstacles. They obliterate clarity with a vengeance at times or enter like a subtle and insidious smoke screen.

Either way we might mourn the loss of a clarity that had presented itself. Never fear however as that clarity and pure love is always and forever there awaiting our loving awareness. This book will help navigate and dissolve those obstacles into the illusionary smoke from which they appeared to arise. Remember in this journey things are often not what they appear. When we feel lost it is wonderful to have a safe, trustworthy and accessible guide/teacher. For me, David is all of that. He can be for you as well.
